    Polymer rheology

Polymer rheology deals with dispersions and suspensions as viscous systems, i.e. liquids in which solid particles are distributed. Solder paste, commercial inks and paints fall into this category. Solder paste is a suspension consisting of a binder (vehicle) and solder particles. Another example for well-known suspensions is the coating agent for paper, a polymer solution in which solid particles are mixed with clay and other materials.
