Omegameter
Device that washes out ion residues of surface mounted circuit boards by means of a flushing liquid and then analyzes the ion concentration on the board by measuring the electrical resistance of the liquid. The flushing fluid consists of isopropanol (75%) and pure water. The board is placed in a solution heated to 50 °C and then sprayed with a high-pressure jet in order to maximize the ion uptake. The measurement results are calculated by a microprocessor in a NaCl equivalency value. Registered trademark of Alpha Metal. |
