    Sweating

During press- soldering or brazing, when the solder or filler is melted by an outside pressure on the joint, liquid solder may leak. In analogy to the human body, this phenomenon is called sweating. A form of press - soldering, sweat -joining is the procedure where tin is applied to surfaces prior to soldering, ensuring that a good bond is formed during pressing.
