RMA Flux / Fluxing agent with mild activator

The abbreviation RMA stands for rosin mildly activated. A lower amount of activator is added than in case of the RA Flux, making further use without cleaning possible after soldering. Also referred to as weakly activated flux . The following threshold values are different from the RA Flux, according to the MIL-F -14256 standard: solution resistance > 100,000 Ωcm; SIR > 500 MΩ; solder extension > 90 mm 2 on a brass plate; halogen content < 0.040 ml of equivalent amount of substance (measurement conditions identical with RA). Increased RMA flux is used in the soldering paste as well.
